The meta 2021 art and design exhibition will be presented by North Metropolitan TAFE (NMT) in August 2021. The exhibition showcases innovative and exciting creative works completed by year 11 and 12 students enrolled in visual art and design courses.

    Please only submit ONE artwork per form for each student. For further information regarding entries, please contact: Indicate any special requirements/info – orientation, sequence.
  • Please provide accurate finished framed dimensions (L/W/H)
  • (oil on canvas, charcoal on paper, mixed media work etc)
  • This would describe the intention and meaning of your work as well as the creative processes and design thinking that you applied to develop it. Approximately 80 – 100 words. North Metropolitan TAFE reserves the right to edit text. Please proof read and correct student's grammar and spelling before submitting.

    Please upload an image appropriate for judges to gain a good appreciation of students artwork. High resolution photos in the following formats only - jpg, jpeg, gif, png or pdf. Please keep sizes to under 5MB each. You are welcome to upload a detail of painting, drawing or sculpture to assist judges' discernment of technical finish.
    Your submission photography therefore is extremely important and as a guide for taking the best possible photos of artwork, using simple lighting and camera techniques, please watch a short instructional video here to help you achieve the best result. Film, sound or multimedia artworks should be uploaded to YouTube. Email us for instructions or if you have a problem
  • Please upload your video on YouTube, make it Private or Unlisted and post the link in the field above. If unsure how to create a YouTube account and upload the video please email us for detailed instructions.
    • Entrants agree that their artwork: does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any person or corporation and that it is their own original work; and
    • Can be reproduced either in whole or part by North Metro TAFE for education and promotion purposes • Agree this is the student’s original work.
