A Season of Graduate Exhibitions 2009

Every year another flock of talented graduates is released from Creative Industries training at Central TAFE.

To celebrate their achievements, a season of graduate exhibitions runs through November and December, both on-site and off-site. This includes film screenings and fashion parades as well as displays of art, photography and a number of design areas.

A survey of diverse works made in the last year by WA’s best established, emerging, regional and city based ceramic artists as selected by The Ceramic Arts Association of WA.

Old Works by David Turley

21 January – 9 February

A series of new works that re-present objects, ephemera and collected oddments found in deceased estates, roadside collections and second-hand stores. Through items including diary collections, family holiday slides and letters to loved ones, the works investigate the recording of existence; questioning mortality, and the traces left behind.

David Turley is a graduate of Edith Cowan University and a Central TAFE Artist In Residence.
