SHOWROOM 18 + BRIDGE NEVER BUILT
12 – 15 September
SHOWROOM 18 presents the very latest explorative and innovative designs produced by students from the 3D and Product Design courses at North Metropolitan TAFE.
The exhibition highlights the talents of some of Western Australia’s best and brightest emerging designers.
On display will be a selection of student project works from the Certificate IV and Associate Degree groups – demonstrating the design process from concept to prototype.
Invited alumni from the 3D Product and Industrial Design courses at North Metro TAFE return to exhibit examples of their recent creative work and respond to an imagined brief: Design a structure that would link the Art and the Design buildings of the Northbridge campus.
Bridge Never Built highlights the diversity of creative vocations our former students engage in and provides a compelling insight into their multidisciplinary approach to contemporary art and design practice. The exhibition will feature works by local and internationally based creatives, Cat Cook, Gwilym Faulkner, Claire Garcia-Webb, Kat Graham, Rafell Herrera, Yulia Holil, Amy Perejuan-Capone and Hakiki Zahwa.
