Re-imagining the Display Home by Fiona Harman
launches 6pm Thurs 2 March
3 – 11 March
This exhibition brings together Fiona Harman’s body of work developed over a four-year creative practice PhD through the School of Architecture and Interior Architecture at Curtin University. Over the course of this research, Harman’s approach to painting shifts from seeking to subvert the aspirational display home, to encouraging sensed and felt responses to place that engages with the evocative potential of the suburban landscape in Australia.
