Art and design practice involves the exploration and development of ideas and feelings through the use of a range of skills and knowledge of art techniques and processes.  Art and design practice also plays an important role in shaping our understanding of ourselves as individuals and of the world in which we live.

metaMORPHosis is an art

and design exhibition of the work of senior secondary school students.  MORPH has been developed by Central Institute of Technology to acknowledge and promote the excellence and originality achieved by senior secondary

school students in their art and design studies.

The works present the ideas and experiences of today’s youth from their perspective and provides a window into the rapidly changing world of these exceptional young people.

Central also sees the exhibition as a complement to our prestigious art and design programs and as a reflection on the shift (or metaMORPHosis) from high school student to student artist/designer.
