Confluence by Boris Milas and Natalie Blom

Confluence by Boris Milas and Natalie Blom

19 to 29 April

12-6pm, Sat/Sun 12-5pm

Landscape photography as an exploration of self and selfhood navigates WA from two contrasting perspectives – Blom’s Wheatbelt reflections and Milas’ migrant experience.

Confluence is the combined efforts of Boris Milas and Natalie Blom each attempting to visually navigate the landscape of Western Australia. Blom was born and raised in a small Wheatbelt community, while in contrast Milas was in born in Bosnia, immigrating to Australia as a teenager. Both artists’ favour the external medium of landscape photography as an exploration of self and selfhood.
