Revealed Market by Carol Seidel

An exhibition by the next generation of Aboriginal artists is complemented by a bustling marketplace, where visitors get the rare opportunity to buy direct from artists and 20 WA Aboriginal Art Centres. A free symposium thrashes out some current issues and celebrates creativity and innovation from regional WA. Visiting artists and art centre staff gather to share in professional development training and networking, while a series of Aboriginal artsworker

traineeships empower aspiring cultural workers.

The third Revealed is funded by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts, the Department of Indigenous Affairs, the Australian Government through the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support program and Central Institute of Technology, with support from the

Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, the Art Gallery of WA, the WA Museum and the State Library of WA.

Pick up your Revealed brochure at the gallery or you can browse here.  It profiles the 20 or so Aboriginal Art Centres involved, with images of work by the forty participating artists as well as website addresses, locations and contact details for all the Art Centres.
