Internationally renowned South Korean contemporary artist and designer Choi Jeong Hwa creates art that celebrates the

peculiar beauty of synthetic materials and everyday objects while provoking reflections upon both consumption and harmony in our modern lives. Choi’s ephemeral installation of more than 10 000 balloons at Gallery Central is a complement to his Perth International Arts Festival commissioned public installations. His carnival of

colour and plastic mimics and honours the beauty in nature as well as the processes of decay that are part of being alive.

The inaugural AGDA AWARD POSTER EXHIBITION has finally made it’s way to Perth.
In 2010, during Icograda Design Week in Brisbane, AGDA was able to showcase 30 of Australia’s finest creative communicators, design thinkers as agents for change to the Queensland public. AGDA WA now invites you to bask in the glow of these amazing oversized vinyl posters measuring a whopping 2m x 1.4m.
You are welcome to enjoy these posters on Tuesday 21 and 28 March from 4-5pm
